Champagne Blonde - Organic Hair Color
Champagne Blonde
Colour Me Organic Premium
Certified Organic Hair Colour Powder · 3.5oz
A toner, not a dye. Champagne Blonde adds a soft champagne cast to hair that is already light. It does not colour brown or black hair, and no plant colour can lighten — so this one refines the blonde you have rather than creating one.
It contains no indigo. The herb that darkens every other shade we make is simply absent here, which means no green stage at the rinse and no risk of the colour stalling at purple. What you see when you rinse is close to what you keep.

What "100% organic" means here
Not 99%, not 99.9% — every herb in the pouch is certified organic, and there is no base powder or carrier underneath them. Each shade is vacuum-sealed to slow oxidation before you open it, and shipped by air from our production facility in India so newer stock reaches you.
Unveil Radiant Elegance with Champagne Blonde
Champagne Blonde offers a refined, softly golden tone inspired by the delicate shimmer of champagne. It blends subtle warmth with light dimension, creating a luminous finish that reads as your own hair rather than as colour applied to it.

Unlike overly bright blondes, Champagne Blonde delivers a balanced glow — gentle, polished, and effortlessly elegant. Brass often reads as brass because it is uniform; giving a flat blonde something to vary against is what makes it look refined rather than raw.

What kind of colour this is
Conventional dye lifts your own pigment out and puts synthetic pigment in its place. This one doesn't lift anything — plant pigment layers over what you already have, so the cuticle stays shut and there is no damage to repair afterwards.
And this shade goes further: it barely colours at all. Ingredient lists run in order of quantity, and colourless henna leads this one — a herb that hardly tints. The three that do carry colour sit below it. That is the definition of a toner, written out on the label.
- Powder-based organic colour for men and women
- Certified organic by ECOCERT
- No peroxide, ammonia, PPD, parabens or synthetic pigment
- Contains no indigo — no green stage at the rinse, and it cannot stall at purple
- Works on light, lightened or grey hair only. It will not show on brown or black hair
- Blends grey into a soft champagne rather than covering it
- At-home application, no developer to mix
What to expect
- Right after rinsing — a soft warm veil over your existing blonde. No green stage, no waiting out a colour you didn't order.
- First day or two — the henna deepens slightly as it meets air. The shift is small.
- Where it lands — a warmer, less flat version of the blonde you started with.
A tip that makes a real difference. If your colour tends to come out light, mix the powder with a small amount of apple cider vinegar in place of some of the water — 1 to 2 teaspoons per bowl — and let the paste rest 15 to 30 minutes before applying. Henna's pigment releases more readily in mildly acidic conditions. This works because there is no indigo in this shade; don't carry it over to our browns or blacks, where acidity holds the indigo back.

There is no version of these photos on dark hair — not because we left it out, but because a pale tone has nothing to sit on without a light base underneath. Within light hair, depth still shifts with how pale your base is, grey percentage and porosity.

Ingredients
Seven certified organic herbs, and no indigo — one of six shades we make without it, and the herb that darkens every brown and black in our range. Ingredient lists run in order of quantity, and that order is what makes this a toner: colorless henna leads, and it barely tints at all. The three herbs that do carry color sit below it.
100% organic. Made in India. This shade contains no indigo. Any color product can irritate some people, so patch test before full application, especially with sensitive skin or a history of reactions to plant dyes. Stop use if irritation occurs.
FAQ
No. This shade does not contain indigo. It relies on henna and other plant ingredients for its tone, which is why there is no green stage at the rinse and no risk of the colour stalling at purple.
No. This is a toner, and it needs a light base to sit on. Plant pigment only adds — it never lifts — so on brown or black hair there is nothing for a pale tone to register against. It will not show faintly either, and a longer processing time or a second application won't change that. If your hair is dark, Light Brown or Brown will give you a visible result; this one won't.
Not exactly. A violet toner works by cancelling — placing purple pigment against yellow so the yellow reads less. This works the other way: it lays a light warm tone over the yellow so the blonde has depth rather than sitting flat. Brass often reads as brass because it is uniform, and that is what this addresses. If you specifically need strong yellow neutralised, a violet product does that job and this doesn't.
It blends grey into a soft champagne rather than covering it. Grey takes plant pigment readily — it has no melanin of its own to compete — so on darker hair with greys, the greys will take this shade far more than the rest of your hair does. That reads as soft highlights rather than uniform coverage. If you want even, solid grey coverage, a brown shade will give you more of it.
Because this shade contains henna and does not include indigo, the colour may develop warm, copper or reddish undertones depending on your natural hair colour and porosity. Indigo is what cools a shade down, and there is none here. This is a natural characteristic of henna-based plant colour rather than a fault.
Two things help. First, start on genuinely clean hair — no conditioner, no leave-in, no silicone. A thin tone can't get past residue, and lightened hair collects more of it than most. Second, try the vinegar step: add 1 to 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to the mixed paste and let it rest 15 to 30 minutes before applying. Henna's pigment releases more readily in mildly acidic conditions. This works on this shade because there is no indigo in it — don't carry it over to our browns or blacks, where acidity holds the indigo back.
Typically about 30–45 days, depending on your hair type and washing routine. Shampooing very frequently, especially with strong or clarifying shampoos, can shorten longevity; rinsing with plain water in between is fine. To help the colour last longer, use a gentle (preferably sulfate-free) shampoo. A toner fades gradually rather than growing out in a hard line, so there is no regrowth border to manage.
No. This is a non-oxidative plant colour with no peroxide or ammonia-type lightening agents, so it deposits colour rather than lifting your natural pigment. It cannot dye your hair lighter than your existing colour. A lighter result requires starting with a lighter base.

The US Pouch
Ordered as Needed, Flown In, Shipped Fresh
Every pouch we sell is handled the same way, from the factory in India to your door, so that it reaches you as close to freshly made as we can manage — and so all 24 shades stay in stock.
Sealed at the factory
Dried, blended, vacuum-packed
The herbs are dried and blended at the factory and vacuum-sealed there, while the powder is fresh. Air is what ages plant powder — henna's pigment breaks down with oxygen, and air-exposed powder smells much stronger.
Flown in
By the pallet, by air
Each shade is ordered in units of 25, and the shades due for restocking are combined into a pallet of about 1,000 pouches, flown to Torrance, California — days in the air instead of months at sea.
Checked monthly
Each shade, on its own schedule
We check every shade's sales each month and forecast demand from our sales history, with the help of AI. When a shade drops below three to six months of stock, we order about a year to eighteen months' worth — enough to stay in stock, not so much that it sits.
18 months+
Left on every pouch we send
We ship the oldest stock first, and take any batch with less than 18 months left out of sale. Every order arrives with at least 18 months before its expiry date.
