Beige Blonde - Organic Hair Color
Beige Blonde
Colour Me Organic Premium
Certified Organic Hair Color 3.5oz
A soft beige blonde — and only one herb in it carries colour. Colourless henna leads the ingredient list, henna comes second, and nothing after that is adding or removing tone. No indigo, no manjistha, no hibiscus.
It needs a light base. Plant pigment adds and never lifts, so on medium brown hair a pale beige barely registers and on anything darker it won't show.

What kind of colour this is
Conventional dye lifts your own pigment out and puts synthetic pigment in its place. This one doesn't lift anything — plant pigment layers over what you already have, so the cuticle stays shut and there is no damage to repair afterwards.
And this shade goes further: it barely colours at all. Colourless henna leads the list, and it hardly tints. Henna sits second, on a light base reading as warmth rather than red. The remaining four herbs carry no pigment whatsoever.
- Powder-based organic colour for men and women
- Certified organic by ECOCERT
- No peroxide, ammonia, PPD, parabens or synthetic pigment
- Contains no indigo — no green stage at the rinse, and it cannot stall at purple
- Works on blonde, light brown, highlighted or greying hair only
- Blends grey rather than covering it
- At-home application, no developer to mix
Beige Blonde or Strawberry Blonde?
The two lists are almost identical — both open with colourless henna and henna, both run to six herbs. The difference is one name. Where Strawberry Blonde has hibiscus, Beige Blonde has brahmi: hibiscus carries a red pigment, brahmi carries none at all.
One fewer colouring herb is the whole difference between a strawberry tone and a beige one. Compare with Strawberry Blonde →

Ingredients
Six certified organic herbs, and only one of them carries real color. Ingredient lists run in order of quantity: colorless henna leads — a herb that barely tints at all — and henna comes second. There is no indigo, no manjistha and no hibiscus. Nothing in this pouch is adding red or taking it away, which is what makes the tone read beige rather than golden.
100% organic. Made in India. This shade contains no indigo. Any color product can irritate some people, so patch test before full application, especially with sensitive skin or a history of reactions to plant dyes. Stop use if irritation occurs.
FAQ
No. This shade does not contain indigo — which is why there is no green stage at the rinse, no three-day development window, and no risk of the colour stalling at purple. It relies on henna, thinned by colourless henna, for its tone.
No. A pale beige needs a light base to sit on. Plant pigment adds and never lifts, so on medium brown it barely registers and on anything darker it won't show. This is one of the most diluted shades we make.
Put the two ingredient lists side by side and they are almost identical — both open with colourless henna and henna, and both run to six herbs. The difference is one name: where Strawberry Blonde has hibiscus, Beige Blonde has brahmi. Hibiscus carries a red pigment; brahmi carries none at all. One fewer colouring herb is what shifts the tone from strawberry toward beige.
Because this shade contains henna and does not include indigo, the colour may develop warm undertones depending on your natural hair colour and porosity. Indigo is what cools a shade down, and there is none here. It reads warmest on day one and settles over the next day or two.
Two things help. First, start on genuinely clean hair — no conditioner, no leave-in, no silicone. A thin tone can't get past residue, and lightened hair collects more of it than most. Second, try the vinegar step: add 1 to 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to the mixed paste and let it rest 15 to 30 minutes before applying. Henna's pigment releases more readily in mildly acidic conditions. This works on this shade because there is no indigo in it.
It blends grey rather than covering it. Grey takes plant pigment readily — it has no melanin of its own to compete — so on lighter hair with greys the result blends softly. On darker hair the greys will take the tone while the rest barely changes, which reads as highlights rather than uniform coverage.
Typically about 30–45 days, though a light shade fades sooner than a deep one — there is less pigment on the fibre to begin with. Because lawsone is bonded to the keratin rather than deposited inside the shaft, it softens gradually rather than growing out in a hard line, so there is no regrowth border to manage. Frequent shampooing, especially with strong or clarifying shampoos, shortens it; rinsing with plain water in between is fine.
No. This is a non-oxidative plant colour with no peroxide or ammonia-type lightening agents, so it deposits colour rather than lifting your natural pigment. A lighter result requires starting with a lighter base.

The US Pouch
Ordered as Needed, Flown In, Shipped Fresh
Every pouch we sell is handled the same way, from the factory in India to your door, so that it reaches you as close to freshly made as we can manage — and so all 24 shades stay in stock.
Sealed at the factory
Dried, blended, vacuum-packed
The herbs are dried and blended at the factory and vacuum-sealed there, while the powder is fresh. Air is what ages plant powder — henna's pigment breaks down with oxygen, and air-exposed powder smells much stronger.
Flown in
By the pallet, by air
Each shade is ordered in units of 25, and the shades due for restocking are combined into a pallet of about 1,000 pouches, flown to Torrance, California — days in the air instead of months at sea.
Checked monthly
Each shade, on its own schedule
We check every shade's sales each month and forecast demand from our sales history, with the help of AI. When a shade drops below three to six months of stock, we order about a year to eighteen months' worth — enough to stay in stock, not so much that it sits.
18 months+
Left on every pouch we send
We ship the oldest stock first, and take any batch with less than 18 months left out of sale. Every order arrives with at least 18 months before its expiry date.
