Caramel Blonde - Organic Hair Color
Caramel Blonde
Colour Me Organic Premium
Certified Organic Hair Color 3.5oz
A soft caramel blonde, and only one herb in it carries colour. Colourless henna leads the ingredient list, henna comes second, and nothing after that is adding or removing tone. No indigo, no manjistha, no hibiscus.
It needs a light base. Plant pigment adds and never lifts, so on medium brown hair a light caramel barely registers and on anything darker it won't show.

Real natural hair color begins with truly organic ingredients.
And when we say organic, we mean 100% certified organic herbs—not 99%, not 99.9%, but fully certified organic botanical color.
Colour Me Organic Premium is the premium U.S. edition of our 100% organic hair color line, designed for a more protected herbal coloring experience.
Each shade is vacuum-sealed to help protect the herbs from oxidation, designed for a 5-year shelf life, and shipped more frequently by air from our production facility in India so newer product can reach you more reliably.
Experience the warmth and richness of Caramel Blonde and let your hair shine with genuine, pure, botanical color.
Embrace the Soft Warmth of Caramel Blonde
Caramel Blonde offers a warm, inviting tone that enhances your natural beauty without dramatic contrast. This shade blends golden and soft brown hues to create a smooth, dimensional finish that feels effortless and natural.

Ideal for those who want a subtle change, Caramel Blonde adds warmth and texture while maintaining a low-maintenance, natural-looking appearance. It brightens your look without overpowering your base color — perfect for soft transitions and understated elegance.

Caramel Blonde or Beige Blonde?
These two share the same herbs, and the ingredient lists look nearly identical. The difference is in the proportions, which we don't publish — held by one person at our production facility in India. Caramel runs warmer; Beige runs more neutral.
Where our other shades differ by which herbs are in them and in what order, these two differ only by how much of each. See both on the colour chart →

- 3.5oz – For waist length hair
What kind of colour this is
Conventional dye lifts your own pigment out and puts synthetic pigment in its place. This one doesn't lift anything — plant pigment layers over what you already have, so the cuticle stays shut and there is no damage to repair afterwards.
And this shade goes further: it barely colours at all. Colourless henna leads the list, and it hardly tints. Henna sits second, on a light base reading as warmth rather than red. The remaining three herbs carry no pigment whatsoever.
- Powder-based organic colour for men and women
- Certified organic by ECOCERT
- No peroxide, ammonia, PPD, parabens or synthetic pigment
- Contains no indigo — no green stage at the rinse, and it cannot stall at purple
- Works on blonde, light brown, highlighted or greying hair only
- Blends grey into a soft caramel rather than covering it
- At-home application, no developer to mix
What to expect
- Right after rinsing — warmer than the finish, and no green cast. There is no indigo here to wait out.
- First day or two — the warmth eases as the pigment settles.
- Where it lands — a soft caramel. Judge it on day two, not the first evening.
Worth trying: the acid step. Add 1–2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to the mixed paste and let it rest 15–30 minutes before applying. Henna's pigment releases more readily in mildly acidic conditions. This works because there is no indigo in this shade — don't carry it over to any shade with indigo in it.

Ingredients
Five certified organic herbs, and only one of them carries real color. Ingredient lists run in order of quantity: colorless henna leads — a herb that barely tints at all — and henna comes second. There is no indigo, no manjistha and no hibiscus. Nothing in this pouch is deepening the warmth or cooling it. One more thing the order tells you: Beige Blonde carries these same five herbs in this same order, and adds methi as a sixth. Methi has no pigment in it, so everything that separates the two shades is in the proportions — and proportions are the one thing we don't publish.
100% organic. Made in India. This shade contains no indigo. Any color product can irritate some people, so patch test before full application, especially with sensitive skin or a history of reactions to plant dyes. Stop use if irritation occurs.
FAQ
No. This shade does not contain indigo — which is why there is no green stage at the rinse, no three-day development window, and no risk of the colour stalling at purple. It relies on henna, thinned by colourless henna, for its tone.
No. A light caramel needs a light base to sit on. Plant pigment adds and never lifts, so on medium brown it barely registers and on anything darker it won't show. If your hair is darker and you want warmth, Light Brown carries more pigment.
Because this shade contains henna and does not include indigo, the colour may develop warm, coppery undertones depending on your natural hair colour and porosity. Indigo is what cools a shade down, and there is none here — nor is there manjistha or hibiscus to shift it. Henna's own warmth is the whole tone. It reads warmest on day one and settles over the next day or two.
Two things help. First, start on genuinely clean hair — no conditioner, no leave-in, no silicone. A thin tone can't get past residue, and lightened hair collects more of it than most. Second, try the vinegar step: add 1 to 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to the mixed paste and let it rest 15 to 30 minutes before applying. Henna's pigment releases more readily in mildly acidic conditions. This works on this shade because there is no indigo in it.
It blends grey into a soft caramel rather than covering it. Grey takes plant pigment readily — it has no melanin of its own to compete — so on lighter hair with greys the result blends. On darker hair the greys will take the tone while the rest barely changes, which reads as highlights rather than uniform coverage.
Typically about 30–45 days, though a light shade fades sooner than a deep one — there is less pigment on the fibre to begin with. Because lawsone is bonded to the keratin rather than deposited inside the shaft, it softens gradually rather than growing out in a hard line, so there is no regrowth border to manage. Strong or clarifying shampoos, frequent washing and very hot water all shorten it.
No. This is a non-oxidative plant colour with no peroxide or ammonia-type lightening agents, so it deposits colour rather than lifting your natural pigment. A lighter result requires starting with a lighter base.
Tell us. First-time customers who don't get the result they expected can have a different shade sent free, or a full refund on the colour.
It's made from certified organic herbs with no synthetic additives, but any colour product can irritate some people. Patch test before full application, especially with sensitive skin or a history of reactions to plant dyes. Stop use if irritation occurs.

The US Pouch
Ordered as Needed, Flown In, Shipped Fresh
Every pouch we sell is handled the same way, from the factory in India to your door, so that it reaches you as close to freshly made as we can manage — and so all 24 shades stay in stock.
Sealed at the factory
Dried, blended, vacuum-packed
The herbs are dried and blended at the factory and vacuum-sealed there, while the powder is fresh. Air is what ages plant powder — henna's pigment breaks down with oxygen, and air-exposed powder smells much stronger.
Flown in
By the pallet, by air
Each shade is ordered in units of 25, and the shades due for restocking are combined into a pallet of about 1,000 pouches, flown to Torrance, California — days in the air instead of months at sea.
Checked monthly
Each shade, on its own schedule
We check every shade's sales each month and forecast demand from our sales history, with the help of AI. When a shade drops below three to six months of stock, we order about a year to eighteen months' worth — enough to stay in stock, not so much that it sits.
18 months+
Left on every pouch we send
We ship the oldest stock first, and take any batch with less than 18 months left out of sale. Every order arrives with at least 18 months before its expiry date.
